Raleigh police arrest two in Brier Creek shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have two people in custody in connection with a fatal shooting Saturday in a Brier Creek parking lot.

Jason Nathaniel Wright, 27, of Durham, was shot outside the Carolina Ale House restaurant at 7901 Brier Creek Parkway, around 2:15 a.m. Saturday, police said. Wright was taken to Duke University Hospital, where he died.

On Wednesday, police arrested Reginald Dale Dixon, 48, of Apt. 2A, 208 Gray Ave. in Durham, and David C. Bradsher, 40, of 400 Odell St. in Durham. Bradsher was charged with first-degree murder and was being held without bond.

Dixon faces a charge of accessory after the fact for driving Bradsher from the scene, according to his arrest warrant. He was being held on $50,000 bond.

Police have said the crime does not appear to be a random act.
