Raleigh pair split $100,000 lottery win

Courtney Daye and Christopher Trice split a $100,000 jackpot from the North Carolina Education Lottery.

— A couple from Raleigh is splitting a $100,000 prize won on a North Carolina Education Lottery scratch-off ticket.

Courtney Daye and Christopher Trice played the $10 Millionaire 7's game and bought their ticket at the Fast Pik Food Mart on Old Garner Road in Raleigh.

The said they'd use their winnings to pay bills and help their families. 

After taxes, each got a check for $34,626.

    Congratulations to them both! That is great. IF that were me, I would put that directly in savings. That's just me though. :-)
