Raleigh officers begin testing body cameras

Raleigh, N.C. — A few Raleigh police officers will be outfitted with body cameras in the coming weeks, part of a test to determine the best way to record public interactions.
The city's long-term plan calls for 600 officers to be equipped with body cameras over the next three years.
The test will involve three different camera systems.
City leaders will evaluate the test results over about three months and look at public input before implementing a wider body camera policy.
