RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh is one of the top 10 cities for beer lovers, according to a new study released Monday.
The Oak City ranked sixth in the nation, according to the report by business data and analytics provider Infogroup.

The report analyzed which metro areas were home to the most beer retailers and breweries, in addition to wine retailers and wineries. That info was then broken down to determine the concentration of beer or wine-related businesses per 10,000 residents.

The report found that there is a significant relationship between the concentration of beer businesses and the concentration of wine businesses.
