Raleigh man faces statutory rape charge
An 18-year-old Raleigh man was arrested Sunday on accusations that he had sex with a 14-year-old girl, according to an arrest warrant.

RALEIGH, N.C. — An 18-year-old Raleigh man was arrested Sunday on accusations that he had sex with a 14-year-old girl, according to an arrest warrant.
DeShonte Lequan Jones, of 7101 Sandy Forks Road Apt. 2A, faces one count of statutory rape of a person more than four but less than six years younger than the accused.
Jones was placed in the Wake County jail under a $75,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday.
If he posts bond, he is ordered to not have any contact with the girl.
