Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh man is accused of forcing a woman into his vehicle and trying to rape her on Thursday, according to arrest warrants.
Corey Randolph Hargrove, 27, of 1716 Gorman St. Apt. C., faces charges of second-degree kidnapping, attempted second-degree rape and misdemeanor assault on a female.
Warrants state that Hargrove grabbed the woman and forced her into his vehicle, injuring her knee in the process. He attempted to have sex with her "by force and against the victim's will," according to the warrants.
The warrants do not state where the incident took place or if the victim knew the suspect.
Hargrove was placed in the Wake County jail under a $500,000 secured bond. He made his first court appearance Friday morning.
