— A Raleigh man faces charges for driving while intoxicated and child abuse after two children in his vehicle were not properly strapped in, according to court records.

Police say Stacy Brent Frazier, 54, of 3939 Wake Forest Road, Apt. 122, was arrested after leaving the scene of a crash on Spring Forest Road Saturday night.

According to the arrest report, Frazier told police he had consumed two shots of rum, plus six valium pills. Police reports show the two children riding with Frazier were not in safety seats and were riding in the front seat.

THIRD offense; he'll get a slap on the wrist , again, and maybe NEXT time, he'll kill someone! The judicial system at it's best!

A man of that age KNOWS it's illegal to drive intoxicated, KNOWS it's illegal to drive with unrestrained children in the car. What is wrong with folks? Who did these children belong to?

He probably thought you couldn't be charged with DWI if you're under the influence of prescription pills. Thing is, you can. I hope the children weren't hurt.
