Raleigh man faces assault charges

Napoleon Harrington, 61, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to an arrest warrant.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man is facing charges in connection with an altercation Friday night.

Napoleon Harrington, 61, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to an arrest warrant.

Police said Harrington struck a 44-year-old woman with a beer bottle during an argument late Friday at a home in the 600 block of Quarry Street. Harrington also cut a 21-year-old man with a box cutter during a fight at the same location, police said.

Harrington was being held Saturday in the Wake County jail under a 155,000 bond.
