RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man charged with secretly taking pictures of women in their underwear at a local Walmart store faces more charges.

Phillip Allen Pettit, 35, of 10210 Purchase Crossing, Apt. 208, was arrested Monday on eight counts of felony secret peeping. Police said he was using a cell phone to take pictures and record videos of women at the Walmart in the Alexander Place shopping center on Glenwood Avenue.

Eight videos were found on a cell phone seized in the case, and police searched Pettit's home Tuesday to check his computers and any other electronic devices for any other photos or videos, according to a search warrant.

Pettit was charged with a ninth count of felony secret peeping on Friday.

Investigators said there might be more victims and asked that any women who might have encountered Pettit in the store come forward.
