RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man died Wednesday after falling into a septic tank.
Police spokesman Jim Sughrue said officers and emergency personnel were called to 3416 Oates Drive at approximately 1:30 p.m.
They found Ernest M. Garrett, 80, dead at the scene. His death appears to have been an accident, Sughrue said.
