Raleigh man dies in motorcycle wreck

— A 52-year-old man was killed Sunday evening after losing control of his motorcycle.

Allison Lee Pulley was traveling west on East Edenton Street near Poole Road in a 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle when he lost control and struck a light pole, Raleigh police said.

Pulley was taken to WakeMed, where he later died.

The crash is under investigation.

    I really hope he wasn't drunk. I am a rider myself and we lose too many people who drink and ride. If he wasn't drinking, I hope there is a good explanation...

    Yes, so very sad! Sure has been lots of deaths with motorcycle riders lately, it seems! Actually, lots in vehicles too - seems like more than usual!

    Please be careful people, and don't let yourself be distracted by anything, especially electronics!
