Raleigh man charged with two assaults

— A Raleigh man was held at the Wake County jail on more than $150,000 bond after attacks on two people, according to warrants released Sunday.

Napoleon Harrington, 61, of 613-A Quarry St., assaulted a man with a box cutter and used a broken beer bottle against a woman, the warrants say.

He also faces drug charges for possession of a crack pipe and Brillo pad.

    The brillo pad is one of the items used in smoking crack (I think as some sort of filtering mechanism). Brillo pads, in and of themselves, are not illegal.
