Raleigh man charged with stabbing acquaintance

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police charged a man with attempted murder Thursday morning, alleging he stabbed an acquaintance.

Paris Jujuan Todd, 25, was being held on $1 million bond on charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Police said he was arguing with Simon Edmundson, 46, Wednesday afternoon at 1301 E. Hargett St. when he used a large knife to stab him in the chest.

Edmundson was in serious condition at WakeMed Thursday.
