<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A Raleigh man faces charges that he raped a child under age 13, according to arrest warrants.

Marlon E. Mendoza-Mejia, 24, of 5423 Gunnett Road, was charged Thursday with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sex offense against a child. He was placed in the Wake County jail under a $4 million bond.

The warrants state that Mendoza-Mejia abused the child in April. The exact age and gender of the child weren't given.
