This all has to be just a big misunderstanding. This "undocumented gentleman" is just not up to speed on our laws and customs. We all see and hear the race card being played for political gain, but what really yanks our chains the most is the blatant disregard for our cultural norms. This issue will not be solved until one of our political parties grows a pair (ask Aunt Jan where she got hers!) and finally does what the people who voted their sorry hides in to office demand. The democrats don't want to lose the millions of new voters that will bolt if they do anything at all about enforcing our immigration laws......but the already disadvantaged republicans have an untapped resource at their disposal, one that they aren't aware of yet....registered democrats (like me) that will line up at the polls to MORE than offset the loss of the collective opposition to common sense. Having sex with little girls and driving while blind drunk may be "Macho" in Mexico, but it ain't cool here...

All of us complaining about the immigrants better get use to this type of thing. They are here to stay and no matter what they do noone in charge has the GUTS to do anything about them.

Get used to it. There are more and more illegal aliens here every day, and our country has taken the approach to ignore them until they commit more serious crimes. Even the new AZ law, and got bless them for doing it, still is more reactive than practive. We need to hunt down and deport these guys and eliminate all the incentives for them to come back. Eliminating those incentives will also hopefully cause a lot of them to leave on their own. They don't belong here, and they don't deserve a path to citizenship.

Sad fact. Here illegally. Was he a criminal/sicko in Mexico as well? Nonsense? How is it nonsense to see he's here illegally, was able to do a sick crime against someone else? Who would not have been if we had ppl enforcing a law? The ICE chief is now saying he won't enforce AZ's law? THATS nonsense! How can he not enforce the AZ law and not fed law? He needs to resign, period!

Another Hispanic in jail with a detainer by Immigration and Customs Services AFTER being caught for rape of a 12 year old girl?! I am so sorry for the girl and her family. I wonder how many laws were broken BEFORE he was caught for rape. First he was here illegally. Isn't that enough?
