Raleigh man charged with Fink's Jewelers robbery

An 18-year-old Raleigh man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with a the armed robbery of a north Raleigh jewelry store over the weekend.

RALEIGH, N.C. — An 18-year-old Raleigh man was arrested on Wednesday and charged with the armed robbery of a north Raleigh jeweler over the weekend.

Olusegun Daniel Olorunlona was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, according to his arrest warrant. Authorities said Olorunlona robbed Fink's Jewelers at North Hills on Feb. 27 with a handgun.

Olorunlona stole nine Rolex watches from the store, which had a value of $147,650, according to the warrant.

Olorunluna's criminal record includes six arrests dating back to 2013 for charges including possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
