Raleigh man charged with assault for knife threat

Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh man was jailed Saturday for threatening a shop owner with a knife.
According to the warrant for his arrest, Demetrious Delmenta Johnson, 20, of 8108-304 Green Lantern St., was protecting his brother, whom the store owner accused of shoplifting. The warrant did not name Johnson's brother.
Johnson was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and held on $30,000 bond.
