RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man bought a $5 lottery ticket Friday, scratched off a $100,000 prize and collected his winnings all in one day, the lottery announced Monday.
Barry Seawell said he'll use his $69,251 in after-tax winnings to pay bills, take a trip to Atlantic City and go on a fishing trip to Florida.
He bought the winning ticket at the Bull Market on Glenwood Avenue and said he started "running around the room" when he got home and saw he was a winner.
