Raleigh man accused of identity theft

Joshua Toujours, 29, is charged with several counts of identity theft and obtaining property by false pretenses, according to arrest warrants.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man is accused of identity theft.

Joshua Toujours, 29, of 4641 Mill Village Road, is charged with several counts of identity theft and obtaining property by false pretenses, according to arrest warrants.

Toujours is accused of stealing Joshua Smith's identity to open lines of credit and charging more than $6,800.

Police said the crime involved Chase and Capital One credit cards as well as an account with Time Warner Cable.

Toujours was being held under a $10,000 bond in the Wake County jail on Wednesday.
