Raleigh man accused of armed robbery

A Raleigh man was arrested late Monday after police said he robbed another man at gunpoint.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man was arrested late Monday after police said he robbed another man at gunpoint.

The incident happened Friday at a home in the 1100 block of Carlisle Street. Raleigh police said Dominique McLaughlin, 20, of the 2800 block of Friar Tuck Road, stole a handgun, cash and a laptop computer from a man inside the home.

McLaughlin also struck the victim in the head with a handgun, police said.

He was charged with robbery with a deadly weapon and assault with a deadly weapon.

McLaughlin was held Tuesday at the Wake County jail under at $103,000 bond.
