RALEIGH, N.C. — Two kids' museums in Raleigh are growing up.

Playspace on Glenwood Avenue closed its doors on Monday to move in with Exploris.

The museums decided to merge because Playspace needed more room and Exploris struggled with attendance.

The new kids’ museum on Hargett Street will open and unveil its name on Sept. 29.

Ticket prices will remain $5.
