Raleigh homes evacuated after gas line rupture

— A contractor hit a gas line Monday in the area of Dogwood Drive and Redbud Lane, near Wade Avenue, in Raleigh. Several homes have been evacuated, according to a PSNC Energy spokeswoman.

The leak was capped just before 1 p.m., and crews were working on a repair.

    Warning to all those staying at my house this week, there is a potential for a different type of gas leak on Friday morning that will create a cause for evacuation...........

    Oh geez, and as cold as it is too.

    Blessed everyone's ok though. Praying for them.

    Make sure to air the houses out good before lighting anything though. Never know.
