A Raleigh day care worker is facing a child abuse charge after authorities said she broke the wrist of a 5-year-old girl in her care.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh day care worker is facing a child abuse charge after authorities said she broke the wrist of a 5-year-old girl in her care.

Rose Debnam Antoine, 56, of the 7200 block of Abalone Way in Wendell, was charged with intentional child abuse inflicting serious physical injury.

According to a warrant, the incident happened April 23 at the Kreepers-N-Krawlers on Community Drive in Raleigh.
