Raleigh couple facing charges in connection with rape
A Raleigh couple is facing charges in connection with the rape of a 14-year-old girl.

Police on Tuesday arrested 36-year-old Isaiah Barney III, 36, and Shameka Bennett, 36, at their Orchard Hollow Lane apartment.
According to the arrest warrant, Barney was charged with second-degree kidnapping and statutory rape. Bennett was charged with indecent liberties with a child and two counts of statutory rape, the arrest warrant states.
The alleged crimes happened during the months of June and July of last year.
Barney was being held Wednesday in the Wake County jail under a $1,550,000 bond. Bennett's bond was set at $1,500,000.
