Here's a fun, informal way to celebrate the moms in your life.
Lake Lynn Community Center in Raleigh will host Muffins and Tea Time with Mom from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., May 13. All ages are welcome. The cost is $8 per person.
The event includes a mom-and-me tea party, featuring tea and muffins. There also will be arts, crafts and a Mother's Day photo booth. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their best for the special occasion.
