Most of the area's daddy-daughter dances are scheduled around Valentine's Day, but there are some outliers. 

Among them is Crossroad Fellowship's Father Daughter Dance, which is set for 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday, at the church on Millbrook Road in north Raleigh.

Tickets are $25 per father/daughter pair. The cost is $30 for dads who bring two or more daughters. The price includes dance, refreshements, a souvenir portrait, DJ and more.
