Raleigh children's consignment sale to offer designer handbags

You can now buy and sell designer handbags at the Divine Children's Show in north Raleigh, the long-running consignment sale featuring high-end boutique children's clothing.

The sale is looking for handbags in excellent condition with designer labels, according to its website. Examples of accepted brands include Coach, Gucci, Dooney and Bourke, Cinda B, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, Marc Jacobs, Cole Haan, Kooba, Furla, Prada, and Louis Vuitton.

If you have any of these in your closet and you're looking to clear some out, here's your opportunity.

If you're looking to add to your collection, the sale will be open to the public Feb. 27 and Feb. 28, at 9660 Falls of Neuse Rd., in Raleigh. You can shop earlier than that if you're a consignor, volunteer, grandparent or new mom.

The price point for children's clothing is higher here because of the brands that the sale accepts. But I'm always on the lookout for Hanna Andersson and I've had great luck here.
