Raleigh bowling center evacuated due to car fire

— The Western Lanes Bowling Center at 2512 Hillsborough St. in Raleigh was evacuated Tuesday evening after a car caught fire in the center's parking deck.

The car fire started at about 9:15 p.m. and caused smoke to quickly fill the parking deck, which is below the bowling center.

Part of the street in front of the center was shut down while firefighters extinguished the fire.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.

    was it a rouge spark that lit some oil under the car that had leaked from a faulty oil pan bolt?
