RALEIGH, N.C.Raleigh Beer Week - eight days of beer-centered tastings, dinners and parties - starts Sunday.

How it works is pretty simple. Just customize your own schedule by picking the tastings you'd enjoy most (all listed below) and pay only for the events you attend.

The week's 52 events are sprinkled throughout afternoons and evenings on September 18-25 in a selection of hip breweries, restaurants and bottle shops all around the Oak City. Some of the highlights are beer pairings featuring donuts, hamburgers and Bojangles, a new Oyster Stout brewed with oysters from 42nd Street Oyster Bar, a birthday party for Five Points featuring 20 breweries and food trucks and much, much more.

Most of the events feature free admission or no cover, so the amount you'll spend is based on the beer and food you purchase. Other events, like the beer dinners, require attendees to purchase tickets in advance. You can contact each venue for more details.
