Raleigh bank robbery suspect sought
The robbery occurred just after 12:30 p.m. when the suspect gave a robbery note to the teller, Raleigh Police spokesman Jim Sughrue said. The teller complied with the note’s demands and the suspect fled the bank.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities are searching for a man accused of robbing the Wachovia Bank, 2001 Clark Ave., on Friday.
The robbery occurred just after 12:30 p.m. when the suspect gave a robbery note to the teller, Raleigh Police spokesman Jim Sughrue said. The teller complied with the note’s demands and the suspect fled the bank.
The suspect did not display a weapon and it is unknown if he was armed.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 40s with a dark skin tone. He stands about 6 feet tall and has a thin to medium build. He had a salt-and-pepper colored beard and wore glasses with large frames – possibly similar to aviator-style.
The man wore a light colored baseball cap with a dark bill and a long sleeved mustard colored shirt with writing across the chest. The suspect was also wearing dark colored knee-length shorts.
