The city of Raleigh is asking residents for feedback on qualities for a new city manager.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The city of Raleigh is asking residents for feedback on qualities for a new city manager.
A survey is posted on the city’s website that invites residents to weigh in on specific qualifications and challenges for the new city manager. The survey also allows respondents to post two of their own questions to the potential city manager.
Survey responses must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Raleigh is searching for a new city manager to replace Russell Allen, who is leaving July 1 after City Council members did not renew his contract.
Perry James, the city’s longtime chief financial officer, will serve as interim city manager.
