RALEIGH, N.C. — The city of Raleigh is asking for community feedback on potential changes to Avent Ferry Road.

City officials want to revamp the area to accommodate growth around North Carolina State University’s Centennial Campus, the new Raleigh Cathedral, and Dorothea Dix Park.

The city of Raleigh is holding a pop-up open house Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Thomas G. Crowder Woodland Center.

It will offer plans for expanding the roads, constructing new buildings and changing the land use in the area.

Other discussion topics include street improvements, parking and driveway access.

Another open house will be held Saturday, April 7 from 9 a.m. until noon.

A preference survey is now available online through the end of April 2018.
