Raleigh approves updates to Comprehensive Plan

Raleigh, N.C. — The City of Raleigh unanimously voted to approve its updated Comprehensive Plan Tuesday
The Comprehensive Plan targets areas for economic growth and revitalization through 2030.
The updates to the plan include 50 land-use charges and amendments to the downtown and environmental and parks sections of the plan.
Council members will take a final vote on the plan at its regular meeting on Oct. 7. The plan would take effect on Nov. 1, if it is adopted.
