Railhawks slash ticket prices for playoff match
The Carolina RailHawks soccer team are in the playoffs. And they're cutting ticket prices.
Posted — UpdatedIf you were like me and planning on going to a Carolina RailHawks soccer game this season but never made it, you've got another chance.
The No. 2 Railhawks have clinched the 2010 NASL Conference Championship and face the No. 7 Minnesota Stars in the first round of playoffs. They'll play at Cary's WakeMed Soccer Park at 7 p.m. Saturday for the second playoff match.
And ticket prices are now 50 percent offf regular gate prices, ranging from $6 to $11 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3 to 8. Fans are encouraged to wear white to support the RailHawks. The team also is encouraging fans to decorate white sheets to support the playoff push. Decorated sheets can be dropped off at the Wake Med Soccer park during normal business hours or by 3 p.m. Saturday.
And there will be a variety of game night activities, including inflatables, an autograph alley, and, of course Swoops, the mascot.
