— A Raeford man will spend more than seven years in prison after pleading guilty to federal charges of possession of child pornography.

U.S. District Judge Louise W. Flanagan on Tuesday sentenced Adrian G. Perez, 33, to 85 months in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release. He was also fined $10,000.

Prosecutors said that Perez left a set of keys with a USB drive attached at Pope Air Force Base in October 2009. A service member opened the USB device to try to identify its owner and found child porn images. He contacted military police, who tracked the USB drive to Perez.

A search of Perez's home and computer turned up 440 images of child porn, prosecutors said.

Sounds stupid to ask, but what is child porn? Is it looking at or possessing catalog pictures of teens in swim suits? I imagine ti to be having real teens pixs who are engaged in sexual acts or poses.

Good. They should get life, but then prisons would be full, leaving no room for murderers.
