Raeford man faces child sex charges

William Joseph Holman, 30, of 404 Cypress Road, was charged with one count each of sexual activity by a substitute parent, taking indecent liberties with a minor and disseminating obscenity to a minor. He was being held Wednesday in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $60,000 secured bond.

Investigators said Holman fondled a 14-year-old girl and forced her to watch a pornographic video. The encounter was alleged to have occurred last year while he and the victim were alone in her home, authorities said.
