Raeford man charged with statutory rape

Raeford, N.C. — The Hoke County Sheriff's Office charged a 41-year-old Raeford man Saturday in connection with the statutory rape of a 15-year-old girl.

Derrick Jamal Wilson, of 473 N. Parker Church Road, was jailed under a $100,000 bond on two counts each of statutory rape and taking indecent liberties with a child and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Deputies were called to Wilson's home Saturday afternoon to investigate a report of statutory rape. The victim was found inside, authorities said.

Disgusting indeed! I pray the courts gives this man 60 years in prison. I do hope the young girl with good counseling will be alright in time. Pray for her.

CG - "statutory" means it was rape because of her age. You're thinking of forcible rape. Agree with you about girls today. And here's a newsflash: girls like sex too. As long as they're not squirting out babies, I don't care what they do.
