Registration prices for the 20th annual Komen Triangle Race for the Cure will increase April 1, to $35 for the adult competitive race and the sleep in option and $30 for most other races.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Registration prices for the 20th annual Komen Triangle Race for the Cure will increase on April 1 to $35 for the adult competitive race and the "sleep in" option and $30 for most other races.
Those who sign up before midnight on March 31 can save $5.
For its 20th year, the Triangle race, the biggest fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen Foundation's Triangle to the Coast chapter, will be run in Research Triangle Park.
"RTP is the home of dreamers, believers, planners and creators," said Bill Roberts, board president of Komen NCTC. "We will tap into this inspiration as we move closer to our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever."
RTP allows more room for parking, the team tailgate zone and a food truck rodeo.
The 2016 races, scheduled for June 11, will start and finish at The Frontier, located at 800 Park Offices Drive.
Those who wish to run along with Mike Maze, Gerald Owens and Lynda Loveland should register to join Team WRAL.
