Pop-rock quintet R5 is making Raleigh one of its stop on its summer tour.

The group is led by singer and guitarist Ross Lynch and includes Lynch's siblings Riker, Rocky and Rydel and friend Ellington Ratliff.

Ross Lynch might be best known as star of Disney Channel's hit series "Austin & Ally," which is in its fourth and final season. Ross Lynch plays Austin Moon, half of an internet music duo. He recently won his third consecutive Kids' Choice Award for Favorite TV Actor for his role on the show. This summer, he'll star as surfer Brady in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Teen Beach 2."

Riker is on Season 20 of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."

In other words, there are going to be a lot of tweens and teens interested in this one.

The band self released its first EP called "Ready Set Rock" in 2010. It signed with Hollywood Records in 2012 and released "Loud" in 2013. A second studio album called "Sometime Last Night" will be released on July 10 - the day before the group plays a concert here in Raleigh at the Duke Energy Center for Performing Arts.

They'll perform at 7 p.m., July 11, at the downtown Raleigh performing arts center. Tickets start at about $30 a piece and go on up. They are on sale now.

There's been a lot of buzz about this band, which has appeared on Good Morning America, Ellen, LIVE! with Kelly & Michael; toured Europe; and even had its own big screen documentary.
