Quail Ridge holding book drives for needy kids
The store will be collecting books for Bonnie's Book Foundation and the N.C. State-based program Read to L.E.A.D.
Posted — UpdatedThe foundation accepts gently used and new books for all ages - from board books to books for teens. This is a great opportunity for parents and kids to clear out some bookshelves. New books purchased from Quail Ridge for donation will get a 20 percent discount.
And from Monday to Jan. 28, the store will be collecting books for N.C. State's Read to L.E.A.D. It's part of the social justice and youth literacy program sponsored by N.C. State's Women's Center. Volunteers work with at-risk children who are served by local nonprofits. Books on the Read to L.E.A.D. Wish List can be purchased at a 20 percent discount from Quail Ridge and will be donated directly to the program.
