Playdates at Pullen will launch later this month. The new 90-minute program is designed for kids ages 3 to 5 and their parents. Each playdate, according to Raleigh's parks department, will focus on a theme and include activities and a craft. The program is free, but registration is required. You can register online through RecLink or call 919-996-6468.
Here's the schedule:
Monday, February 29: 10 a.m. to 11:30 am, Leap Day Playdate
Monday, March 14: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., St. Patrick’s Playdate
Monday, March 28: 10 a.m. to 11:30 am, Science Playdate
Monday, April 11: 10 a.m. to 11:30 am, Nature Playdate
Monday, April 25: 10 a.m. to 11:30 am, Trains Playdate
For teens, there will be the Teen Egg Hunt Challenge from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., March 19. This one is for ages 12 to 17. Bring a flashlight and wear sneakers for this twist on an egg hunt.
