Pullen Community Center, right next to Pullen Park, is hosting a preschool morning out program through April.

The hour-long programs feature crafts, stories and other activities. They run from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and cost $5 per child per session. Pre-registration is required to ensure organizers have all of the materials they need. Call 919-831-6052 for more information. This is not a drop off program. Adults will need to stay with their kids.

Here's the schedule:

February 7, Groundhog Day
February 14, Bee Mine
March 14, L is for Leprechaun
April 4, Spring has Sprung

April 18, Earth Day

The community center is at 408 Ashe Ave., Raleigh. Sounds like a fun morning when paired with a trip to the playground and rides. The playground is open dawn to dusk, daily. The rides are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily.
