Publix has officially announced that it is building a new grocery store in Cary that is scheduled to open in late 2014!

We have been talking here on the blog about Publix coming to the Triangle ever since they entered the Charlotte market in 2012.  They built  two stores just across the state line in South Carolina.  In addition to the Cary store, there will be new locations in Charlotte and Asheville as well.

The new 49,000 square foot store in Cary will be located at the corner of High House Road and Davis Drive in the Bradford Shopping Center, according to the WRAL article above.

In many areas, Publix stores double coupons that are 50-cents or less (other than in Florida).  Hopefully they will be doubling here in NC as well. For a copy of their coupon policy, see their website in the link above. I'll have more posted on the coupon doubling policy for the Cary store soon.

If you have shopped at Publix in the past, what do you think about the store?
