Publix announces 2 more NC locations

Publix Super Markets just announced that they will be opening two more North Carolina stores including locations in Winston-Salem and Charlotte. As Publix expands its presence in the state, we can only hope that more Triangle locations are on the horizon.

Publix Super Markets just announced that they will be opening two more North Carolina stores including locations in Winston-Salem and Charlotte. As Publix expands its presence in the state, we can only hope that more Triangle locations are on the horizon. 

The Winston-Salem store is scheduled to open in 2015 and the Charlotte store should be open in late 2014.

The new Cary Publix store that was announced in early August  is scheduled to open in late 2014 and will be located at the corner of High House Road and Davis Drive in the Bradford Shopping Center.  For more details on the Cary, click the link in the box above.

According to their press release, Publix is privately owned and operated by its 160,500 employees with sales of 27.5 billion.  They have stores in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee.
