Public can be heard on plan for Raleigh's future

Raleigh City Council will hold three public meetings during the remainder of the month to get public comment on the 2030 Comprehensive Plan.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh City Council will hold three public meetings during the remainder of the month to get public comment on the 2030 Comprehensive Plan.

Meetings are set for:

  • Aug. 13: Southwest Public Meeting, in City Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m.
  • Aug. 24: City Council Comp Planning Workshop in Council Chambers at 4 p.m.
  • Aug. 31: City Council Comp Planning Workshop in Council Chambers at 4 p.m.

The August meetings are the last in a series to amend the plan, which outlines land use and development in the city for the next two decades.
