Probationer arrested in string of break-ins in Wilson

WILSON, N.C. — Kevin Hinnant Narron, 40, of 119 Aycock St. in Black Creek, was arrested Tuesday in connection with a string of break-ins and thefts, Wilson police said.

Raleigh police located and arrested Narron after Wilson police named him as a suspect. He faces 16 charges involving home and vehicle break-ins, larceny, stolen credit cards and a car theft.

Detectives linked six break-ins between July 9 and Aug. 26 and are investing more cases.

According to state Department of Correction records, Narron was placed on concurrent sentences of probation in February and June. He was convicted of misdemeanor breaking-and-entering in Wilson County and eight counts of passing worthless checks and four counts of obtaining property by false pretenses in Johnston County.

Callers can choose remain anonymous and simply leave information. To be considered for rewards from Crime Stoppers and Wilson police, callers must leave their name and phone number.
