Power restored at NCCU; classes resume as normal

Durham, N.C. — Power has been restored to the campus at North Carolina Central University, school officials announced Wednesday morning.
All buildings are fully operational and all classes will resume as scheduled.
Power outages prompted school officials to cancel some classes for Tuesday.
An NCCU spokeswoman said the outages were the result of a problem in the university's electrical infrastructure, but workers had yet to determine the cause.
