Chapel Hill, N.C. — Officials reopened Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Chapel Hill Friday morning about 12 hours after it was closed due to downed power lines.
Crews closed the road between Critz Drive and Piney Mountain Road at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday after a tree knocked power lines onto the road.
Power was out in the area overnight.
