Power line stolen in Robbins

— Two men are accused of stealing a power line from an area off Spies Road near Robbins, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office reported Friday.

Jason Maness, of 1248 Browns Mill Road in Robbins, and Jason Warren, of 1598 Browns Mill Road in Robbins, were arrested Wednesday and each charged with two counts of felony larceny, two counts of felony injury to utility wire and fixture, and two counts of felony possession of stolen goods.

Randolph Electric E.M.C reported the larceny Sept. 9, saying 400 feet of line was missing. During the investigation, another section of missing power line was found Browns Mill Rd.

Maness was being held in the Moore County jail under $25,000 bond.

Warren was already in the Moore County jail for felony possession of a stolen vehicle. He remain incarcerated under $35,000 bond.
