RALEIGH, N.C. — The state Division of Air Quality has issued a Code Orange warning for the Triangle Tuesday.

Elevated ozone could make breathing difficult for those who are sensitive to air pollution.

High ozone levels generally occur on hot, sunny days with stagnant air. The very young or old and people with chronic lung conditions such as asthma, bronchitis and emphysema should limit time outdoors, especially in the afternoon.
